Apresentação da sua maior exposição, com cerca de 85 obras, intitulada “Rapture“, e que será exibida em Lisboa, na Cordoaria Nacional, a decorrer de 4 de Junho a 28 de Novembro.

“Fiquei fascinado com os materiais e técnicas tradicionais usados em Portugal” afirmou Ai Weiwei, que irá incorporar nas suas novas peças, materiais como a cortiça, madeira, cerâmica e o mármore. Fonte : Lusa

Em 2014, Ai Weiwei foi fotografado na posição onde o cadáver do pequeno Aylan, a criança refugiada síria de 6 anos, que se afogou no Mar Egeu, enquanto tentava chegar à Europa, foi fotografado.
